From Our Community

My son has been at TMSA since kindergarten and is now in 1st grade, and the growth I’ve seen in him has touched me deeply. His confidence, his maturity, even the light in his eyes when he talks about school—it’s real. The support he gets through his IEP has been filled with patience, compassion, and genuine care. As a parent, nothing brings more peace than knowing your child is in a place that pours into them. He loves science, and I appreciate how TMSA encourages leadership and helps him grow in purpose and character. It truly feels like the right place for him.

As a parent at TMSA, I’ve seen firsthand how the Leader in Me character initiative has not only shaped my child but also impacted me in meaningful ways. The program has given my child the tools to be more responsible, confident, and compassionate, and those qualities naturally spill over into our home life. I’ve noticed that the language of leadership and character is now part of our everyday conversations. My child talks about being proactive, setting goals, and thinking win-win, and it challenges me to model those same principles. It’s made me more intentional in how I parent, encouraging independence while also fostering empathy and teamwork. The initiative has also strengthened the partnership between school and home. I feel more connected to the values TMSA is instilling, and it reassures me that my child is growing not just academically, but as a person of integrity. In many ways, it’s helped me grow alongside my child, reminding me that character development is a lifelong journey. I’m grateful that TMSA invests in the whole child, because it’s truly impacted our family for the better.

There’s always a bit of nervousness and concern when enrolling your children in a brand-new school. You hope the transition goes smoothly, that the teachers show genuine care and understanding, and that your children feel supported both academically and emotionally. As a parent with one child in elementary and another in middle school, I can truly say that I am beyond happy I trusted the process and chose this school for my family. From day one, the level of communication from teachers has far exceeded my expectations. It’s consistent, thoughtful, and shows how deeply they care about each student’s success. What touches my heart most is the sense of community and compassion that comes from the administration and staff. The relationships that have been built between teachers, students, and families make me confident that my children are in the best possible hands. I look forward to seeing them continue to learn, grow, and thrive here all the way through their journey toward college.
