Leader in Me at TMSA Triad Elementary

TMSA Triad Elementary is proud to be a Leader in Me School, empowering every student to recognize their own potential and lead with purpose. Leader in Me is an evidence-based PK–12 model, developed in partnership with educators, that helps schools cultivate leadership, strengthen a culture of trust, and improve academic achievement.

At TMSA Triad, we focus on developing the whole child by:
  • Teaching leadership to every student. Every child learns that they have unique gifts and the ability to lead themselves and others.
  • Creating a culture of student empowerment. Students take ownership of their learning and their school environment.
  • Aligning systems to drive results in academics and personal growth.
We use two powerful frameworks to guide our leadership journey:
  • The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People provides a shared language and set of habits that shape our school’s culture and teach lifelong leadership skills.
  • The 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX) helps our students and staff identify, track, and achieve their academic and personal Wildly Important Goals (WIGs).

In April 2025, TMSA Triad Elementary was recognized as a Lighthouse School, a distinction awarded to schools that demonstrate outstanding results in leadership, culture, and academics. This honor reflects our commitment to empowering students to lead not only in the classroom, but throughout our school and community. Our students showcase their leadership through student-led tours, student-led conferences, and numerous leadership initiatives that bring the 7 Habits to life every day.
